Wine, Women & Weatherization!

Learn about all the ways you can make your home warmer and more comfortable this winter - and save money doing it! In this women's-only wine-and-noshies class, we'll discuss easy and effective DIY ways to keep the heat inside and prevent cold drafts from coming through doors, windows, HVAC ducts, and outlets. Our instructors will bring lots of products for you to check out such as weather stripping, foam expansion products, smart thermostats, and more. Attendees will receive handouts describing different weatherization methods, free samples of products, and a delightful array of cheese and appetizers. Beverages will be available and you are welcome to BYOB. Make your 2025 holidays truly warm and wonderful this year! Invite a friend -- or meet new friends -- at our unique holiday event. Learn something new, share tips and ideas, and enjoy some holiday cheer. Seating is limited; preregistration is STRONGLY recommended! INSTRUCTORS: This class is taught by industry professionals, and offered through Central Ohio Women in the Trades. COWIT is a nonprofit organization focused on the education, recruitment, and retention of women within the various trade unions around central Ohio.
