Sewing machines provided. Materials to bring: denim jeans, scissors NOTE: You can find larger jeans for this project at local thrift shops like VOA or Goodwill. INSTRUCTOR: Linda Leviton is a studio artist based in Columbus. She has worked with many mediums including metal, wood, fiber, acrylic, and mixed media. Retiring her 30 year sculpture business in 2024, she has moved her creative energies into teaching upcycling clothing using accessible dyeing, printing, stitching and sewing techniques. Making wearable art that functions and support your personal expression is a joyful experience and one she loves to share. See more about her and her work at LindaLeviton.com.
