Intro to Stained Glass Ornaments

UpcomingNov 8, 2026 - Nov 8, 2026
60 US dollars
East Cooke Road

Available spots.

Celebrate the holiday season by crafting a beautiful stained-glass sun catcher! You can choose among several ornaments: cardinal, pumpkin pie, or snowflake. Students will learn the Tiffany method of stained glass using copper foil, solder, and a wire hook to complete their pieces. > To maximize our class time, the glass will be pre-cut. Each student will select one ornament to make and take home; a second can be made if time permits. > This class is perfect for anyone curious about trying stained glass for the first time. More experienced glass-workers looking to continue developing their skills are also welcomed. Close-toed shoes are required. Please tie back long hair and loose garments. INSTRUCTOR: Kara O’Dea is a Columbus native who’s been passionate about making stained glass for 18 years. She seeks out vibrant colors and whimsical subject matter, bringing stained glass out of its traditional places and into modern decor. Kara teaches workshops around Columbus and in her own storefront, Good Dea Glass Co. When not creating stained glass, Kara can be found hiking and kayaking all over the US.
