Bring the festive spirit to your home with a stunning winter centerpiece! In this hands-on workshop with Sheena, you’ll craft a vibrant arrangement in a cheerful holiday-themed metal container. Using a mix of evergreens, seasonal blooms, pinecones, and playful holiday accents, you’ll design a centerpiece that brings warmth and cheer to any table. Along the way, Sheena will share a glimpse into the long-standing tradition of bringing evergreens indoors during winter, adding a subtle touch of seasonal history to your creation. This arrangement is designed with longevity in mind—if any flowers wilt before Christmas, they can easily be plucked and replaced with fresh blooms from Trader Joe’s or other local floral departments, while the evergreens and accents will continue to last throughout the season. Join us for a guided, hands-on experience perfect for beginners and seasoned arrangers alike. You’ll learn professional techniques for layering greenery and flowers, creating depth and texture, and arranging accents for seasonal flare. Sheena will walk you through: • Material Preparation: Conditioning evergreens and blooms for long-lasting beauty. • Design Principles: Tips for achieving balance, proportion, and visual appeal • Hands-On Assembly: Follow Sheena’s step-by-step guidance to create your own festive centerpiece, with a finished example on display for inspiration. All materials, including winter florals, greenery, accents, vessels, oasis, and tools, are provided. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels. Please note: Flowers and natural accents are products of nature and may vary in size, color, and shape. If a specific item is unavailable, a suitable substitution of equal or greater value will be provided. INSTRUCTOR: Sheena Hanscel is a certified holistic wellness and DIY floral coach who has discovered the healing power of floral design. Combining her love for nature with her background in therapy, she believes that floral design is more than just arranging flowers—it's can be a transformative and therapeutic experience.
