This plant dropped into my garden a few years ago, when we were first setting up the Columbus Garden School. Overwhelmed by the task of finding enough plants to fill in 2 acres, we asked for donations and this one appeared on our doorstep. I planted it in one of the hottest, driest, sunniest spots along the parking area and it has just THRIVED.
These are well-rooted cuttings from one of two similar plants. Pretty sure they are Sedum telephium, but possibly Sedum spectabile. These 'Autumn Joy' type plants grow 18-24"H.
They are cold-hardy plants and have been living outdoors, in the ground, for the 5+ years, through blizzards and droughts. They appear to be deer-resistant. Plant anytime except late fall/winter.
Individual plants are $15 each.
