Our first Siberian iris (Iris sibirica) was a gift from a neighbor who, unsure of its provenance, called it 'Caesar's Something'. From a small clump came many divisions, which we sell to support the Columbus Garden School. Thanks, neighbor!

Perennial featuring deep violet-purple flowers with yellow-white signals in compact, grass-like clumps. Siberian iris thrives in full sun and average, well-drained soil, it is both winter-hardy and deer-resistant. Our plant grows 24-36"H. The photos on this page come from the plant we divided; this was about 2 years after we planted our small clump. Blooms May/June.
