We are somewhat chagrined to admit we have MYSTERY ASTERS of unknown parentage in 1- to 1.5-gallon pots. They're happy and healthy and we like to think they have a little extra "mutt vigor" as we launch them into their new lives.

We've grown the following species of asters at CGS over the years. Most grow between 24-48"H, and we chose those with blue flowers. All tend to bloom towards the end of summer and make great late-season pollinator plants.

Symphyotrichum laeve – Smooth Blue

S. novi-belgii – New York

S. oblongifolium – Aromatic

S. oolentangiense – Sky Blue

S. turbinellum – Prairie

1 to 1.5 gallon Mystery Asters: $8 each

SPECIAL DEAL: 3 pots for $21 while supplies last!
