Holiday Watercolor Card Painting (12/10)

They can serve whatever purpose you desire, including holiday, birthday, greeting cards or simple decoration. You’ll learn some basic watercolor techniques to try out, and then given space to explore the medium. Guidance will be provided, and no artistic skills are necessary. Beginners welcome! All materials (including paint and card stock) are provided by the instructor. If you like, bring an image that speaks to you -- something botanical or pet-related, perhaps, or a landscape. We have spare magazines available to look for inspiration if needed. This is NOT a “sip-and-paint” class where everyone creates the same design. In fact, we’re looking forward to a gallery of wonderfully different images by the end of class. Bring a friend, your beau or belle, or come alone and meet some new painting pals. Enjoy some hot tea while you paint. We welcome all to the Columbus Garden School for our painting party! Class size is limited to 10 students, and we'll meet in the classroom at the Columbus Garden School. (In light of COVID, face masks may be required when we're indoors.) Class fee $30 ($25 class + $5 materials fee). INSTRUCTOR: Timberlee Harris is an artist and board-certified art therapist in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2007 with a BFA in Illustration, she received her MA in Art Therapy and has since been working with populations such as geriatrics, bereavement, and oncology. Whether creating art within a therapeutic or educational setting, she believes that the creative process can be a powerful vehicle for insight, meaning-making, and personal growth.

For a full refund, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to class to cancel your registration. (Refund policy for materials fee, if applicable, may vary and is included in class description.)
