While thoughts turn to football and Halloween, autumn is a GREAT gardening season in disguise! The weather is central Ohio is usually dry, cool, and bug-free -- all great reasons to be outdoors to tidy up after a long summer, and to prepare the garden for winter. You’ll be glad you spent the time NOW to get a jump on next spring! Join Tisa Watts, founder of Columbus Garden School, to learn how experienced gardeners anticipate seasonal change and simplify gardening tasks. We'll talk about the activities you should -- and should NOT -- be doing in the garden now. Let's talk about PLANTS and what they need: compost vs. mulch, weeds, pruning, etc. Learn how to make good plant choices based on your needs and complete a gardening checklist so you have a customized action plan. Bring questions – new gardeners are especially welcome. FREE but you must register to get the Zoom link!
