Join Bernadett for an immersive journey into the world of fermentation at this hands-on workshop! Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or new to the craft, this workshop is designed to deepen your understanding and ignite your passion for fermentation. We will talk about the principles behind the process and its historical significance in food preservation and flavor development. The ancient art of fermentation can be easy, simple, and rewarding. As always, we will sample a variety of fermented foods and beverages to experience their unique flavors in a friendly environment where you’ll meet folks who share your interests and curiosity. Lots of smiles and some good laughs are guaranteed. All materials and ingredients needed for the workshop activities will be provided and you’ll bring home your own fermented goodies. $8 materials fee + $30 class fee = $38 INSTRUCTOR: Bernadett Szabo lives in Pataskala, OH on a small herb, flower, and vegetable farm. She was born in Hungary where she spent summers in her grandmother’s gardens. Once in Ohio, Bernadett joined OEFFA to deepen her knowledge of growing food and medicinal crops. She follows deep organic practices with some biodynamic principles on her homestead. Her business is Bernadett's Farmacy.

For a full refund, please contact us at least 72 hours prior to class to cancel your registration. Refunds are subject to a 5% fee to cover processing costs.
