EVERY FAMILY NEEDS AN HERBALIST, a caretaker to turn to in times of need. Are you ready to take on this role of supporting your loved ones on their journey towards optimal wellness? Have you ever wondered if herbs really work? Or more importantly: HOW do herbs work? Ginger, Skullcap, Feverfew, Chamomile, Peppermint; how will you choose the right herb from a long list your google search turns up for your headache? Digestive problems: Should you reach for Dandelion or Psyllium? In this class you will find some answers to these questions and you will gain clarity about the next steps you may want to take on the herbal path. Tincture or Infusion? We will shine a light on different herbal preparations and see which one is more appropriate for certain situations. This class is a part of a series that will provide participants with basic understanding and tools to deal with common imbalances we all encounter in our lives. INSTRUCTOR: Bernadett Szabo lives in Pataskala, OH on a small herb, flower, and vegetable farm. She was born in Hungary where she spent summers in her grandmother’s gardens. Once in Ohio, Bernadett joined OEFFA to deepen her knowledge of growing food and medicinal crops. She follows deep organic practices with some biodynamic principles on her homestead. Bernadett began studying and practicing herbalism with Rosemary Gladstar, one of the best and most well-known teachers in the U.S., and with other herbalists such as Erika Galentin (Sovereignty Herbs), Katja Swift and Ryn Midura (Commonwealth Herbal), and Sajah Popham (The School of Evolutionary Herbalism). She recently completed an herbal intensive course with herbalist Jim McDonald. Her business is Bernadett's Farmacy.
