DIY Custom Soap-Making Workshop

Come join us in learning a melt and pour soap-making technique! You will be able to create and customize bars of soap using coloring, essential oils, and dried flowers or herbs. You will be guided through the process step by step, and a list of supplies will be provided if you’d like to continue the process at home. Each student will take home at least two bars of handmade soap! Materials fee $10 + class fee $16 = $26 total In light of COVID-19, all students/instructors attending indoor classes are required to wear a face mask. Class is held in a well-ventilated room and is limited to 10 attendees. Invite a friend and create something together! Please register ASAP; this small class is likely to fill quickly! INSTRUCTOR: Timberlee Harris is an artist and board-certified art therapist in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2007 with a BFA in Illustration, she received her MA in Art Therapy and has since been working with populations such as geriatrics, bereavement, and oncology. Whether creating art within a therapeutic or educational setting, she believes that the creative process can be a powerful vehicle for insight, meaning-making, and personal growth.
