More recently, he spent 7 years as the staff apiarist at Stratford Ecological Center in Delaware, OH. During his tenure there, Dave developed wildly popular beekeeper training programs for both novice and veteran beekeepers. Currently, Dave operates Red Beard Bees where he continues to develop, refine, and teach his beekeeper training programs and presentations across Ohio and the nation. Dave employs a bee-centered philosophy to guide his beekeeping, bee-breeding, and educational endeavors. He believes that a better understanding of bee behavior and bee biology creates better beekeepers. “Listen to the bees and let them guide you.” -- Brother Adam
