On March 15, 2020, the Columbus Garden School stopped classes in response to the global pandemic of COVID-19. Like many small, local businesses, CGS is struggling through the  ramifications of an unknown future. HOWEVER, we know two things are true:

First, classes to teach gardening, homesteading, and home maintenance skills are -- more than ever -- critically important to our quality of life moving forward.

Second, we can adapt our teaching methods to ensure the safety of our students. Some classes can be offered online. When we reopen our doors, you can expect smaller class sizes and PPE requirements until the danger of COVID-19 has passed. IN ADDITION, we're investigating other adaptations that include offering outdoor classes (a shade canopy and tables/chairs still needed).

We're confident we can pull through this -- together. At the moment, we would really appreciate your financial assistance. While we're looking at other avenues to generate funds, 100% of our previous income (from class fees) came to an abrupt stop on March 15. THANK YOU for your consideration and generosity!
